With last Wednesday’s controversial action over, the list of the 32 nations competing in the finals in South Africa next year has been [effectively] confirmed. Surprisingly, there are only 2 debutants in the ranks (Serbia and Slovakia (both in 1st apperances as separate nations)), but there are plenty of teams who will feel that they have a great chance of winning the Final in Soccer City, Johannesburg on 11 July next year.
