Kerlon is regarded as one of Brazil’s hot prospects, and the footage below shows him in the 2005 South American U17 Championship.
In this tournament, Kerlon, who can play in attacking midfield or up front was named top scorer and player of the tornament, in a squad that also featured Manchester United’s midfielder Anderson.
His performance was made notable for his constant use of a move called ‘the seal dribble’, where he flicks the ball up and dribbles with his head.
At the time Kerlon was playing for Brazilian team Cruzeiro, but he moved last summer to Italian Serie A side Chievo Verona, where injury has restricted him to one first-team apperance.
